Annual Fall Festival in Milan. The event is Saturday, November 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 p.m, and is an evening filled with FREE fun and entertainment. Games, prizes, face painting – live music – tons of food – moonwalks – hayride – hay maze – just one big party! Bring your families, friends, or come by yourself…you will make wonderful memories. Milan Open Houses Scheduled for Holiday Shopping!
Di's Dazzling Boutique and Bears in the Attic located in the Milan Staircase 52 E. Main St. have planned a few FUN Open Houses and sales between now and the holidays. Jot these times on your calendar to get a jump start on gifts. Great jewelry by Park Lane and more, and loveable bears that makes you smile!
Sat. Nov. 3rd from 2-7 p.m. Sat Nov 24th from 2-7 p.m. (Thanksgiving weekend) Fri. Dec 1st we will be open late during the parade and festivities. Sat. Dec. 15th is "Men's last minute shopping sale" and will be geared to men. Of coarse anyone is welcome, but we thought we would have a man's night. Cast your ballot within the Milan City Hall Complex. A Mayoral and openings for council seats will be determined today! Your vote does count. Precinct opens at: 7:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m. 147 Wabash St.

The Milan Chamber Ambassador Committee
will be meeting on Thursday, November 8th from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Chamber Office. This is a new group that has been formed by the Chamber. Our purpose is to network with other area groups and chambers to let them know about our events and learn about their events. With one of our main goals being to promote the businesses in Milan to those outside of the area. Chamber Annual Membership Gathering changed to an evening Reception. PLEASE RSVP SOON! All though there is no charge for our members, we have to have an accurate account for Main Street IX.
This year we will award our Community Service awards at our evening gala event. We decided more members would be available to attend the P.M. event, held at Main Street IX Restaurant, 39 E. Main St. 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Free to members, however there will be a charge for all drinks. $15.00 for non members plus drinks. Live music by Outta the Belly. It start at 8:30 am with a breakfast buffet that is $6.95 and at 10:30 AM it changes to a full brunch with made to order omelets and waffles, a carving station, salad bar, dessert table and both breakfast and lunch entrée selections.
